Keeping Your Head Out of the Toilet

We are getting closer and next week is the week we find out what we are having!  I’m so excited and even more excited to see that we are at the half way point of this pregnancy.  If you have been following me for any time at all on this blog, or if you know me in real life, you know that I’m not at all the woman who glows and loves being pregnant.  Every day I’ve been sick and lately have spent quite a bit of time in Physical Therapy due to pinched nerves in my back.

Since I had been so sick, I asked my doctor what I could do to help get over my daily appointment with my toilet.  When he asked me when I would get sick, it was typically after I took my prenatal vitamins.  I had tried a few different kinds and every kind made me sick.  So, my doctor told me just to stop taking them and amp up my Vitamin B and Folic Acid intake.

Something just felt weird with stopping, even if it was making me sick.  I was sent a sample of BrainStrong Prenatal to try and I was expecting it to have the same effects.  It didn’t.  Since I have been taking it, I haven’t had the morning sickness at the same frequency as I did with other vitamins.  I am not smart enough to figure out why or if there was something in the other kinds I was taking compared to this one, but I do know that I feel better and I don’t feel guilty for not taking anything at all for the baby.
