Week 13: More Tales From the Round Side

I LOVE seeing people’s reactions to telling them that I’m pregnant. I love it even more seeing people that normally have something to say about EVERYTHING (see my Mom , be completely unable to use their words.

My brother and my sister-in-law had the best reactions of everyone. My brother screamed into the phone just how excited he was in a way I haven’t seen him get excited in a long time – tough thing for a cool 16-year old to do ya know. My sister-in-law immediately started crying and bee lined it over to my husband to hug and cry together. Their relationship is exactly what I hope my brother and I have when we “grow up.”

I am so tired of being sick. I have found that Cherry Cough Drops help keep my stomach settled and need to be on hand at all times.

My cravings are not that bad, although I have been dreaming about a tall Captain and Coke for a few weeks now. A friend suggested putting rum extract into Coke to see if that had the same impact, but then I read about the alcohol content in Rum extract, so that idea is out.

Fre wine is wonderful and may get me through this long, hard, Non-Alcoholic summer. Also, any level of caffeine in my system causes me to become a wee bit ADD.

We went in for our second ultrasound this week to test for DS. Our kid has grown so much! It even waived to the camera!
