My mom always told me to collect something. I tried to collect dolls, then miniature shoes but none of that really turned into more than dust collectors. One thing I do collect lately is blogs. I love these writers and want to share them with you!
There are a few bloggers out there who, just as I wake in the morning and crave coffee, I wake in the morning to see what they wrote overnight on their blogs. Most of them are design blogs, gossip blogs, but a very few are must reads. One of them for me is Harpers Happenings.
Mandy, who writes at Harpers Happenings, started her blog much like I have…telling the world that we have the cutest child in the world. Her daughter, Harper, is a girl I want Cameron to bring home someday. Her mom feels like someone I would be friends with if she didn’t live in the Pacific northwest…who would come over and do crafts and go shopping. She recently started a shop doing just that, sharing her vintage shopping finds with us who are vintage impaired.
When I wrote her my blogger love letter, she even wrote back! And when I compared her to a rock star, namely Joey McIntire ALA NKOTB, she wrote back quoting lyrics. SWOON.
Whether touting her obsession with Pinterest through Vlogging, posting cute pictures of her beautiful daughter, waxing poetic on haters, or encouraging mamas to go beyond yoga pants, she is a highlight of my day and should be yours too!
