Bacon, Birthdays, Balloons, and B*TcHes

Rewind to the weekend….Birthday weekend went off without a hitch.  I do think that birthdays are something to be celebrated for more than one day, especially when they are not mine.  We started off the day with the best of intentions to wake up early and make family pancakes, but alas….I overslept.

BUT, I made up for it with a delivery of balloons at Jeff’s office and a great dinner down the street.  I think Cameron loved the balloons more than Jeff…that that was kinda the point.

We added to the festivities through Bacon and Apple Pie – liquor that is.  The Apple Pie is now gone, and the Bacon Chocolate bar was interesting…and also gone, just not through consumption….try that at your own risk.  DEFINITELY can taste the bacon.

Finally, we ended the weekend with a tri-birthday celebration with the B*Tches of Harvard.  The annual cake was consumed, the stories were shared, and we were all a year older.

It is amazing where a year can bring…we have added another baby, more pounds, new jobs, new adventures, and always more bacon.  We are so lucky to have such great friends and wish all the January and February peeps a Happy Birthday!  An Apple Pie to you!
